Jaguar XJ-S Convertible. Registered October 1989 this car is a 1990 model. Finished in Diamond Blue metallic. This colour was only listed for 1990 model cars. The interior is finished in magnolia hide piped in blue with luxurious blue carpets. The brushed mohair hood is in matching blue. This vehicle has only covered 31000 miles from new. The spare wheel is brand new and has never been on. The overall condition is commensurate with a 31000 mile car rather than an 18 year old car. Tyres are in excellent condition with very little wear.

This car was once owned by Sir Jimmy Savile and he fitted the cherished plate on it which will go with the car as it is part of its history.

When it came out this car had everything! It is fitted with Jaguar Radio cassette, trip computer, auto box, power steering, electric heated seats electric lumbar adjustment, electric door mirrors, cruise control, electric power hood etc etc. the steering wheel is a matching magnolia Jaguarsport wheel.

I have done 6000 miles in 6 years in the car. Summer use only. It drives beautifully and on a run I can get 22/23 m.p.g. which is not bad for a 5.3 V12. It has just had the oils and filters changed ready for 2007.

What doesn't work? The screenwashers, the nearside electric door mirror. [I have had it fixed 3 times but if not used the cams seize up again! The aircon needs re gassing as it is the old now illegal gas. But lets face it in a car like this you put the hood down instead!!
